We’re looking for a local filmmaker to tell regional Washington narratives for season four. You pitch the idea, Cascade PBS will provide the funds.

The first ballot count in statewide, legislative and Congressional races were posted Tuesday. More votes will be released throughout the week.

Initiatives regarding the carbon pricing system, the capital gains tax and state long-term care program trailed in early returns, while a ban on natural gas bans appears ahead.

Reproductive choice, LGBTQ+ rights, the economy, housing and homelessness are all at the top of Washingtonians’ to-do lists for the next president.

Voters will decide on four statewide ballot initiatives, including efforts to repeal the capital gains tax, the cap-and-invest program and WA Cares.

Two congressional seats are wide open – the 5th District around Spokane and the 6th District on the coast – with three other competitive district races.

Results for the citywide Position 8 seat left vacant by former Councilmember Teresa Mosqueda, plus Seattle's transportation levy Proposition 1. 

Results for all legislative races in Eastern Washington, including Districts 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 16. 

Results for all legislative races in the Seattle and Tacoma metropolitan area, including Districts 32, 1, 45, 46, 36, 43, 48, 41, 34, 37, 33, 11, 47, 30, 27, 25, 28 and 29.
