If the results hold, this election will represent a major setback for the growing numbers of people in Seattle calling for a radical rethinking of criminal justice in the city.
In the Nov. 2 election, Incumbent King County Councilmember Kathy Lambert lost to challenger Sarah Perry, while County Executive Dow Constantine won a fourth term.
King County voters will choose their next executive and five county council members.
Results in city council and mayor’s races will indicate how voters want the city to handle some of its hardest issues.
