Here's a picture of the South Lake Union Trolley (SLUT) – excuse us, the Seattle Streetcar – navigating Westlake Avenue near Westlake Center today. As you can see, it's already getting crowded out there, and evidently these trains aren't the least bit intimidating. This is looking north, at the back of the train, and the car has just entered the curb lane to make a right turn alongside the streetcar. Passenger service begins Dec. 15.
