David Hogg

Co-founder, March for Our Lives

David Hogg

David Hogg is a gun-control activist and college student. He became a household name at 17 as a high school senior who survived the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting on February 14, 2018. At the time, Hogg was a student journalist for the Sun Sentinel’s “Teenlink” section. Hogg used his journalistic skills during the Parkland shooting by recording a video of him and his fellow classmates huddled together, sharing their views on gun-violence prevention as an active shooter situation was unfolding. A co-founder of the March for Our Lives movement, Hogg is still advocating for gun-control reform.
